Two quotes of the week

Two quotes that I've read have amused me a great deal this week.  The first was from Douglas Adams and is about how new technology frightens the elderly.

“Anything that is in the world when you're born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works. Anything that's invented between when you're fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it. Anything invented after you're thirty-five is against the natural order of things.”

The second is from Noel Gallagher of Oasis when there was a rumour going on about him investing in Manchester City Football Club (not Manchester United).  He denied the rumour saying:

"I'm not going to give my money to a load of 25-year-old brats who'll ask me for £35,000 a week.  I've never been friends with a footballer. The vast majority of them are complete idiots."

And that along with the unexpected nudity at work is what's been making me smile this week.
